Usage:

Products can be updated and removed. However, before deleting a product please make sure that you really don't need it anymore. There is an option on Product > Settings tab called Discontinued that can be checked if the product is not available at the moment but you don't want to delete it. While this option is checked, the product cannot be added to a case in order to be shipped.

 

Navigation: File > Global Settings > Global > Products & Tasks Lists > Products  

 

To Delete a product:

You have to make sure that the product you want to delete is not already added to a Case.

1.Select the Product you want to delete. To find a product please read this topic.

2.Click on V9 - Delete  on the left of the screen  

3.Select Yes when you are asked for confirmation.

Note:

1.Record will be deleted permanently from the database. If you want to use it later you have to Add it again.

2.You cannot delete products that have been used. However, if the product is not to be used ever again, you can check Discontinued and click the Save button. This way the product cannot be used anymore but will still be in the database. If later the product will be used again later, just simply uncheck Discontinued option, Save and the product will be ready to use.
