Usage:

Remake discounts are offered when some or all products of a case are remade. Remakes may be applied as a percentage or as a fixed value that will be discounted from the original price of the product.

 

Remake values can be applied:

➢ To a single product when this is added to a case.

➢ To a single product after it was added to the case. You need to open the case for editing and you can set the Remake value for any product.

➢ To all products of the case by setting the Remake on the case form rather than on a specific product.

•A case that is not Invoiced (typically discount is set when products are added to a newly created case).

•Products added to case.

•You also need:

➢ Remake value entered in File > Global Settings > Global > Laboratory Lists > Remakes.

➢ Reason entered on File > Global Settings > Global > Laboratory Lists > Reasons form.

1.Select the case. Make sure products are added.      

2.Click on the 2. Remake & Discount tab. It is the second tab on the top of the Case form.

3.Select the Remake checkbox.              

4.Once Remake is checked the Remake, Rate, Reason and Remake Case # fields will be enabled.

5.Now you have two possibilities:

I.  Add a Percentage Type Remake

Add Remake to the products as Percentage

 

➢ Select a Remake from the dropdown list.

➢ Rate will be added automatically and cannot be changed.

Note: Next to the Rate field is the "%"(percentage) sign which will confirm that the selected Remake is a Percentage.

➢ Enter the Reason why this discount is being applied.

➢ Click V9 - Edit - short button next to the Remake Case # field. The Case Finder form displays and you can search the case you want to remake.

 

  II. Add a Flat Amount Type Remake

Add Remake to the products as First Remake Discount

 

➢ Select a Remake from the dropdown list.

➢ Enter the Rate value. This can be any value that is less than the Total Price. You cannot offer a greater discount than the initial price of the products.

Note: Next to the Rate field is the "$" (dollar) sign which will confirm that the selected Remake is a Flat Amount.

➢ Enter the Reason why this discount is being applied.

➢ Click V9 - Edit - short button next to the Remake Case # field. Case Finder form displays and you can search the case you want to remake.

6.After you select the desired remake value you will notice that the Remake column in the grid is updated for each product with the amount of money that will be discounted from the Extended Price.

7.Click V9 - Save to close the Case form and save the changes you made.
