Setting up DDX Integration
➢ Register with www.DDXDental.com and establish an account with Henry Schein ➢ Review the DDX procedures and decide which procedure you would like to be available to your customers. ➢ In DLCPM, navigate to the product setting page and locate the new field called DDX Procedure Code. (File > Global Settings > Global > Products and Tasks Lists > Products) DDX Procedure code in Products form ➢Make sure to check the box option for “Display on the Web”. ➢We have already populated the procedures for you. Simply click the procedure that matches the appropriate product in DLCPM. |
➢ Navigate to File > Global Settings > Global, locate the option called DDX on the left panel ➢ Enter the URL for the customer portal. This is the same link you have added to the main page for your customers to access the customer portal and should look something like https://portal.yourlab.com. ➢ DDX subdomain may be any text you want but it is best to use your DDX Account Number. ➢ Click the button to Register with DDX. If you plan to use the DDX test server, check the box for Staging Server. ➢ This will connect you to the DDX server. DDX Server ➢ Click on the Sign up link, this will open a new page. Select Account Type ➢ On this page, select Magic Touch Software (DLCPM) for the Account Type ➢ Enter the rest of the information as required by DDX ➢ Click on the Register link ➢ Once registered, you will be given 2 keys called Remote Application Public and Private keys. Remote Application Public and Private keys ➢ Simply copy/paste these keys into the corresponding fields in DLCPM DDX Settings ➢ Next you would want to check the appropriate boxes for notifications. ➢ Click OK to save your changes. |
➢ Click on Automation Server under Automated Services from the Side Bar menu DDX services
➢ Locate 3 services called •DDX Products Update •DDX Case Image Transfer •DDX Case Update ➢ Edit each one to Enable that service and decide how often it should run. It is recommended that you keep the default settings but if you decide to change them, do not set the interval for less than 5 minutes as it will add an unnecessary load to your server and internet bandwidth. ➢ Once these services are enabled, your product ID will be Synced to DDX and your customers will be able to see the products the same way that they are displayed on the Web. ➢ You are now ready to receive cases from your customer. |
