Usage:

This new federal excise tax will go into effect on Jan 1, 2013 and the feature has been incorporated into DLCPM.

 

 

Navigation:   Administrator > Settings  or   V11 - Settingson Home Page > Global > Laboratory Lists > Medical Excise Tax

Medical Excise Tax form

hmtoggle_arrow1How to set Medical Excise Tax:

1.Follow the navigation path to open the Medical Excise Tax form

2.Check the Enable Medical Excise Tax option

3.Enter the Tax Rate. The rate is set to 2.3 as required by IRS.

4.Click V11 - OK to save the changes.

1.Follow the navigation path to open the Medical Excise Tax form

2.Uncheck the Enable Medical Excise Tax option.

3.Click V11 - OK to save the changes.
