➢ Whenever you make any changes to a customer record, on the left hand side of the customer form underneath the area to choose a query, a Save or Cancel button will appear. You can choose either to Save the changes or Cancel the changes and start over.
❑ How do I add an attachment to a customer record?
➢ To upload a document to relate to a customer record navigate to the customer's account . While on the tab for Customer, select the sub tab for 'Attachments'. Click New Attachment and the Add New Attachments form will appear. Here, you may select to upload a document.
❑ How do I add an alert for a customer that will pop up to users upon Case Entry/ Edit?
➢ You may add this type of an alert by first navigating to the customer's account. While on the tab for Customer, select the sub tab for 'Customer & Case Alerts'. Click New Alert, check the checkbox 'On Case Entry', and enter the information about this alert accordingly. Please note that you may also add alerts for 'On Invoicing' as well.
❑ I want to disable users from entering a case for a customer until we have received payment for their balance - how can I do this?
➢ Open the Application Settings and open Case Options. On the tab for Case Entry, navigate to the sub tab for Case Validation and make sure that the checkbox option 'Allow entering Cases for Customers on Credit hold/ Over their Credit Limit' is not checked. Or you may also navigate to the Accounting tab of the Customer's record and put the customer on an immediate credit hold by checking the option for "Credit Hold'
❑ How do I assign a sales person to a customer's account?
➢ In order to assign a sales person to a customer’s account you must navigate to the desired customer's record and access their personal Settings. Navigate to the Sales Commissions section and select sales person.
❑ How can I set up a special product price for a customer?
➢ First navigate to the customer’s record and open their customer settings. Then, click on Special Prices. Here you are able to add products and set a special price for this particular customer only. To add a special price, click Add New. The New Special Price form will open where you can select a product and enter a special price. You also have the option to select an Expiration Date as well as notes. Click save and this special price will be displayed in the grid.
