Where can I view all payments?

With the Customer's record open, navigate to the Accounting tab and select the sub tab View Payments.

With the Customer's record open, navigate to the Accounting tab and select the sub tab View Payments. Once you have selected the payment you wish to delete, click on the Delete button located under the Actions menu. Please note that you may only delete a payment that has been posted in the current statement period.

How can I modify a payment that has already been posted?

With the Customer's record open, navigate to the Accounting tab and select the sub tab View Payments. Once you have selected the payment you wish to modify, click on the Modify button. Make any necessary changes and click save. Please note that you many only modify payments that have been posted in the current statement period.

 

How do I view only one type of payment?

With the Customer's record open, navigate to the Accounting tab and select the sub tab View Payments. On the View Payments form, you can select from a list of different queries by clicking on the filter button under the Actions menu. From this drop down list you can select the type of payment you would only like to view.

 

A customer's credit card that was set up for auto pay has declined, what is my next step?

If a credit card set up for auto pay and has declined you have two options to correct the situation. You can delete the failed record from the grid in view payments, modify or correct the new credit card information in the customer's settings and once you changed which credit card will be used for auto pay the following business day the declined auto payment will resume accordingly. Please note this means you do not need to manually charge the customer for the declined amount otherwise you will end up double-charging the customer. However, if you like to manually charge the customer, do not delete the declined record from the view payments form.

 

Where do I go to type up a message that will print out on the statement for just one customer?

To have a message print out on just one customer's statement, you must first open the customer's record and navigate to the Accounting tab. Next, select the sub tab Billing Info and under the Statement Message section, type the message that you would like to only print on this customer's statement.

 

How do I print a report that will list all my customers whose credit card payments have failed?

With the customer's record open, navigate to the Accounting tab and select the sub tab View Payments. Select the query 'CC Failed Payments' by clicking on the filter button and selecting the query from the drop down menu. After selecting this query, all failed credit card payments will display in the grid. Click on Quick Reports, under the Actions menu, and choose 'Selected Query'. This will open a new browser window which will allow you to print the report.
